The Grand Proposal to APE DAO
The native token of the famous BAYC, or the Bored Ape Yacht Club, dubbed the ApeCoin token is being put into use in a project by Yuga Labs this year. We are referring to the Bored Ape Gazette, a 24-hour news site covering all the information and news coverage related to Yuga Labs and its DAO. The proposal, by the name ‘AIP-70’, was sent for community approval a couple of days ago. This was regarding spending a portion of the ecosystem’s capital on enhancement and upgradation of the news site.

On Thursday, the community members approved the proposal. According to their calculations, the operating cost of the website is going to be 150,000 USD for the first year. The ApeCoin Foundation is currently working on the implementation of the above-mentioned proposal in the APE DAO. Yuga Labs is aiming to execute a lot of features in the upcoming Bored Ape Gazette:
- The Gazette is going to have an ApeCoin price chart.
- To monitor governance votes, they are installing a DAO tracker.
- A live sales ticker showing the live trades and market activities spread throughout all of the projects of Yuga Labs.
- Don’t forget the APE Calander.
The launch of this DAO took place in March. This was amidst the APE token being airdropped to the Yuga Labs NFT token holders. APE rose within the last 24 hours, reaching 6.54 USD. This marks a surge of 11.9%. Even though This is a great improvement over the past few weeks, it’s still far below the all-time high of 26.19 USD.
