- EVM sidechain Cardano has completed 7.5 million transactions
- The Company is all set to launch its game in August
The chief executive officer and co-founder of dcSpark, Nico Arequeros, and a main contributor to the Milkomeda Protocol, has revealed the growth of the Cardano EVM sidechain, Milkomeda C1. The report from the CEO stated that a total of 96,026 wallets and 7,485,720 transactions had been done yet. There is a high probability of wallets touching a bar of 100,000 in August as the Company is all set to launch a game in this month.
At the time of writing, there was a minute hike in the statistics. The number of transactions was at 7,701,890, and the wallets were at 98,097, as per the data from C1 Milkomeda explorer.
The milkomeda foundation publicized the introduction of C1. C1 is basically an EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) sidechain that is associated with the Cardano blockchain.
The sidechain will help in transferring assets to the blockchain without facing any type of discomfort. It will be operated on Ethereum-based decentralized applications, which will be backed by smart contract technology on top of the Company.
Which game will be launched?
Milkomeda is a collection of Layer 2 protocols that target to provide EVM facilities to non-EVM blockchain ecosystems like Solana, Algorand, and many more using some technologies like sidechain and novel rollup. To avail assets on Milkomeda C1, users must have an EVM-compatible wallet like the Flint wallet.
Milkomeda C1 allows Ethereum dApps to be used over Cardano’s workspace. A user Tweeted asking about the games which are going to be launched on the sidechain. The Milkomeda replied to the post by answering that the Company is currently working on direct integration with Cardano by utilizing smart contracts, and more details will be updated soon. Also, the Company clarified that the Milkomeda game could be easily played from the Cardano mainnet.
A Cardano- based DEX, Blueshift, has recently revealed a bridge that will permit to transfer of assets from Cardano to Milkomeda and vice versa directly from its interface.
