Immutable X and Personal Corner Partnership
As Immutable X joined the hand with Personal Corner, its fast, gas-free, and carbon neutral platform will enable the athletes and artists to take control of their brand, value, and revenue. It will also enable direct access to the fans.
Personal Corner was founded in 2016 by the NFL star, Dez Bryant. As mentioned in its Twitter bio, this platform is built “For the Athlete, By the Athlete.” It will offer a gamified experience that will enhance athlete’s real-time game stats based on NFTs.
Major sports stars such as Trevon Diggs, Von Miller, Maxx Crosby, Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, Matthew Judon, Justin Jefferson, Deandre Hopkins, Darius Slay, Marlon Humphrey, Joe Haden, Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner and others with many NCAA stars are connected with this platform.

Dez Bryant, said on the partnership that, “For too long, the balance of power and significant revenue opportunity has been with social media platforms that capitalize on the value of athletes, artists and other content providers. This changes today thanks to our partnership with Immutable, and our ability to leverage its innovative, industry-leading platform that helps forge direct-to-fan relationships.”
On the other hand, the co-founder of Immutable, Robbie Ferguson said, “We look forward to offering sports fans a seamless end-to-end NFT experience, enabling them to easily create wallets, purchase NFTs and trade gas-free on the Personal Corner marketplace.”
Earlier in 2022, Immutable announced a $200M series C fundraising round that was led by investment firm Temasek with the investors Tencent and Animoca Brands. It gave the firm a 2.5B valuation.
