The upcoming Apex XRPL Developer Summit is going to take place in Las Vegas. There are high chances of featuring a variety of new XRP payment solutions. This insight came from the developers at XRPL labs themselves. Wietse Wind and Dominique Blomsma said in a statement that the conference will showcase solutions of XRP payments and refunds while using pathfinding technology.
This innovation of XRPL Labs would avail quick pathfinding allowing users to pay with XRP. While a user paying XRP, a merchant could receive the crypto, would be his or her priority. Along with the team members behind the XRPL Labs who will also support developing Xumm Wallet, there will be developers belonging to an open-source eCommerce platform nopCommerce. Both the teams would work together towards creating whole new solutions for XRP payments.
Ripple is going to host the Apex XRPL Dev Summit event. Although not Ripple, actually the payment solutions development arm of the company named RippleX will be hosting the event alongside the XRP Ledger Foundation.
David Schwarts, co-founder and CTO at Ripple and Matt Hamilton, former head developer will be at the event. They will be the speakers at what is touted as the XRP and XRPL’s largest event.
The event will be focusing on CBDCs along with other crucial issues. Other than this, there will be the announcement of the CBDC Innovate Challenge’s finalist. Meanwhile XRPL infrastructure will be there as a point of discussion as well as blockchain interoperability and programmability.
Ripple Labs has involvement in development of various CBDC projects for different countries. Recently it was reported, citing Ripple’s senior advisor Anthony Welfare, that the company is currently working with authorities in Bhutan and Palau for CBDC development. Meanwhile Welfare also teased there would be more projects to come in upcoming times. Company has initiated this along with launching a private version of XRP Ledger in March, 2021.
