On September 8th, 2022, a mobile software firm named Stack launched a crypto trading application. So, what’s new in that? Well, the objective of this newly launched crypto exchange application is slightly different from the usual ones. The company considered the curiosity of newer generations, teens or the Gen-Z towards crypto. To quench this thirst of information and knowledge, the trading app will also be providing the essential education.
Stack trading app is primarily focused on teaching the teeneagers, below the age of 18, from crypto trading to hold them, etc. This would act as a hands on experience of the crypto exposure. The app would offer educational content in a more trusted and professional manner better than financial knowledge from crypto influencers on TikTok and Reddit like platforms.
Apparently the app would consist of necessary parental controls and also obligate the Uniform Transfer to Minors Act. This way parents and legal guardians of these youngsters would maintain the accounts and relative assets’ ownership till the time they become legally an adult, till turning 18.
CEO Will Rush said during the announcement that they have curated the growing demand of learning about crypto, especially among the youngsters. According to Rush, the educational content currently available online mostly comes all the way through social media or such blog posts or any medium that possibly lacks substance. Stack is making efforts towards filling the crucial gap of knowledge within the market for which it is focusing on building content that would be mainly focused on teens.
Apart from educational content on crypto, the trading app of Stack would also be focusing on “trading”. It will be offering seven crypto assets initially available for buying, selling and hodling them. These assets include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), Cardano (ADA), Solana (SOL) Polygon (MATIC) and Litecoin (LTC).
