Robot Ventures, a pre-seed venture capital investment company, announced on Twitter that it had added former Goldman Sachs trader Hart Lambur as a partner.
The cryptocurrency project UMA, which enables programmers to create financial products on top of the Ethereum blockchain, is the one for which Lambur is most known.
Robot Ventures, which was established by the founder of protocol Compound Labs, tweeted to welcome @hal2001 as a new venture partner.
The company added that Hart, who founded UMA & Across procedures, “brings a wealth of knowledge and will be working closely to assist the initiatives we invest in.”

When Robot Ventures raised $4 million in new capital in 2020, it made waves when it added giga-brain quant Tarun Chitra as a venture partner.
The company has supported a wide range of businesses in the decentralized finance sector, including LayerZero, Nansen, Argent, and Goldfinch.
At D.E. Shaw Research and Vatic Labs, Chitra worked on quantitative research and development in the beginning of his career. Since 2018, he has been the owner of his own business, Gauntlet, which develops tools for cryptocurrency developers to predict risk associated with their projects.

According to his LinkedIn page, Lambur, a Columbia University graduate, worked at Goldman Sachs for more than seven years as an interest rate trader who provided liquidity in US Treasury bonds.
