The famous Spanish vocalist Bertn Osborne’s official Twitter account has been taken over to promote an XRP scam with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse.
In an effort to deceive social media users, the account, which has more than 162,000 followers, began retweeting a number of Ripple-related tweets.
Spamming replies with links to a fictitious XRP giveaway scam that has been going around Twitter for some time, fraudsters began.
CoinDCX also hacked in order to promote XRP
One of the most well-known verified Twitter accounts that XRP con artists have yet to hack is this one. The Indian embassy in Oman’s official account was hacked last month in order to spread a similar giveaway scam.
