The flagship metaverse product of Meta is allegedly overwhelmed with various quality-related problems and even those making the virtual reality social network at the firm and hardly using it.

As per the report by The Verge quoting internal comments, Meta’s virtual reality social network named ‘Horizon Worlds’ keeps a small guarantee in its existing avatar.

Vishal Shah, Meta’s Vice President of Metaverse evidently stated to the staff that the metaverse team will continue to exist in a “quality lockdown” for the remaining year to make sure that we rectify our quality issues and performance-related problems before we make it accessible to more users.”

“Simply keep, for an exposure to become pleasant and cautious, it should first be fit for use and well designed,” he explained.

In August, the founder and chief executive officer of Meta, Mark Zukerberg, was pressurized to show new screenshots on Facebook and Instagram, representing a more life-like type of himself, after he experienced memes on his badly-constructed metaverse avatar.

In that very month, Vivek Sharma, the Indian-origin Vice President of Meta’s Horizon social media Virtual Reality platform, deceased that very time when Zukerberg multiplies on his $10 billion metaverse dream.

What did Shah describe?

Sharma’s team now accounts to Shah.

Shah described in an internal comment that “now feedback by our developers, clients, playtesters and majority of us on the team is that the accumulated weight of papercuts, stability issues and errors is making it difficult for our community to face the magic of Horizon.”

Horizon Worlds is a social Virtual Reality exposure where you can find new places with friends, develop your special world of yours, and make teams to play in action-packed games.

The Horizon Worlds social metaverse platform is now accessible only on the firm’s Quest Virtual Reality headsets.

Shah continued with, “majority of us, we don’t devote that much time in Horizon and our dogfooding dashboards represents this quite clearly.”

“Why is that? Why do not we like the product we have made so much that we utilize it constantly? The simple answer to this is, if we don’t like it, how can we anticipate our clients to like it?” he questioned.

Meta was planning to “keep managers responsible” for having their teams use Horizons not less than once a week.

“Everyone in this company must make their target to like the Horizon Worlds,” he further added.

A Meta spokesperson revealed that the firm is “bullish that the metaverse is future of computing and that it should be made around people.”
