The entertainment music company, Warner Music Group (WMG), has come up with an innovative idea for musical artists to increase their separate fanbase in the Web 3 community. On Thursday, WMG announced that it was going to collaborate with the popular non-fungible tokens (NFT) marketplace OpenSea. It wants to create a platform for artists to develop their careers in the Web3 community.

This partnership between the two giants will help Warner Music artists easily access the new products on the OpenSea platform. Not only that, they will get notification in advance of upcoming OpenSea NFT projects. And the Open Sea platform team will assist artists in expanding their fanbase and adding existing fans into the NFT marketplace.

WMG is going to release NFT Label Pass for licensing the songs of the users in the community music library. The NFT Label Pass will also help the users to create their own stakes in the community, and they also have the opportunity to attend the exclusive live events of the desired artists.

Aside from that, the label pass will benefit users by granting them IP ownership of the NFT platform. It will provide users access to the ownership of well known blue-chip NFT’s like Cryptopunkes and Bored Apes.

As per Warner’s statement, “Our collaboration with OpenSea helps to facilitate these communities by unlocking Web3 tools and resources to build opportunities for artists to establish deeper engagement, access, and ownership.”

Recently, Universal Music Group created a virtual band called Kingship by Jimmy McNelis. It was based on the Bore Ape Yacht Club NFT avatars. It was planned to release their music on the metaverse. Besides that, they wanted to create their own NFT’s.

In recent times, the metaverse has been creating a hike in artists, users, and developers. As Metaverse is not just a video gaming platform, Ripple, a major crypto exchange platform, recently collaborated with Styngr and the recording group Armada to release Maladroid’s album on Metaverse. The innovative collaboration of music and the crypto world will bring a great change in the Metaverse.
