ZEBEDEE Announced An Open Source Initiative Called “No Big Deal”

The developer of the Bitcoin gaming ecosystem, ZEBEDEE network released a new theme, No Big Deal (NBD), on the platform. This new theme will be an open source initiative for the development of the Bitcoin game world. The developers are stating that for upcoming technologies, NBD will act as a cypherpunk that writes codes.

Users can now create their own products, modify them, and create brands for their own products. NBD provides capacity for the developers to resolve issues on their own.

“It’s yours to have-do with it what you will! To us, it’s “No Big Deal.”

Currently, NBD is mainly focused on the Bitcoin Lightning Network. And there are hosted channels and Ligneting Service Providers to generate inbound security for the customers.The company announced 1000 sats for the winners to complete the survey on Twitter, which is going to end on October 17.

At a press conference, the co-founder and chief technology officer of ZEBEDEE, Andre Neves, said that “NBD does not sell anything, it does not offer services, it does not support products. It just writes code and gives it to the world to do with it as they will.”

What Systems Has NBD Launched On ZEBEDEE?

Open Blockchain Wallet (OBW): It is a non-custodial onchain with Lightning Network (LN) support for hosted channels.

Poncho: CoreLightining plugins that provide access to node operators to serve the hosted channels for wallets like OBW or any other wallet.

Cliche: It provides full support for hosted channels by providing the best Lighting nodes for the platform.

Immortan: Lighting Network Libraries (LBK) provides wallet developers the ability to add more Lightning network capabilities to their Bitcoin wallets in a plug-and-plug way.

Satdress: On basis of demand from the developer, the federated server brings out Lighting addresses to the wallet.

Lightning Network Decoder: It decodes the various data that is present on the LN QR code.

Recently, one of the biggest AAA game developers in Japan, Konami, has finally announced that it is going to introduce Web3 technologies and Metaverse into its gaming platform.

“We have been conducting research and development to incorporate the latest technology into games and content, and we plan to launch a service where players can trade their in-game NFTs through a unique distribution platform using blockchain.”
