US Presidential elections are becoming a heated topic as the event gets closer. According to People, a Dotdash Meredith subsidiary, candidates including Rep. Nikki Haley, Dem. Marianne Williamson and more are confirmed to be running for the next President of the United States. Donald Trump, former US President, is going to be among the primary focus in the forthcoming elections.

Trump Needs to be Prudently Watchful

Beeple aka. Mike Winkelmann, a renowned digital artist and creator of Everydays: The First 5000 Days NFT, recently shared an art featuring Joe Biden, the current US President, and Donald Trump. The artwork depicts Trump ‘breaking the chains’ while the current president lies on a stone table. The ex-president is currently facing a criminal prosecution. A long-term investigation led a grand jury in New York to vote for his indictment.

Moreover, he added a poll where users emphasized Trump’s re-election at the publication time. The former president faced trouble during the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica data scandal in the 2010s. The political consulting firm used the data from millions of Facebook users to assist the presidential campaigns of Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, a junior US senator from Texas.

Donald Trump released his NFT collection, dubbed Trump Digital Trading Cards, in December 2022. The collectables gained instant attention, with 44,000 pieces sold within a single day. In 2021, the former president told Fox News that he was not a fan of cryptocurrencies, and he came up with the collection the following year.

In 2021, social media giants Twitter and Facebook barred his account from their respective platforms after the Capitol riots. According to The New York Times investigation, Trump’s popularity descended following the ban. The restrictions led him to launch his social media platform, TRUTH Social.

However, both networks have reinstated his accounts. Elon Musk, the Twitter owner, announced the ban removal in November 2022, while Meta in January 2022. Additionally, YouTube, a global online video-sharing platform, also lifted the restrictions on the former president’s channel.

The indictment charges will negatively impact Republican presidential nominations, according to The Guardian. Tulsi Gabbard, an American politician, called the indictment an ‘extremely dangerous turning point for the country.’ The New York Police Department (NYPD) was told to brace themselves provided an ‘unusual order,’ NBC New York reported last week.

It appears like Donald J. Trump is in deep water, considering the indictment news broke at a crucial time. Although reports suggest that he is facing over 30 charges concerning business fraud, they have not yet been confirmed.
