Gofaizen, and Sherle help in two key jurisdictions licensing that is IFZA and DMCC free. IFZA free is a much easier enrollment option for obtaining a license in crypto as it does not involve any deposit, share capital or previous experience in the crypto market whereas DMCC free is an upgraded version of procedures for obtaining a license of crypto.

It requires practical assurance of the director’s experience in the finance ecosystem, and the license-obtaining limit line is around 3-4 weeks. The lowest share capital requirement is 50,000 AED (€12,750) which is a must to be submitted to the corporate account within six months after the registration.

The permitted businesses would consist of database management, self-proprietary investments in crypto assets, crypto consultancy, and data mining but cannot issue an ICO or register a crypto exchange unless it is registered by a suitable authority.

DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodity Centre) and IFZA (International Free Zone Authority) are on the same ground with different requirements. On three grounds of difference, you can figure out the license obtainment. 

For DMCC the ‘Complete’ infrastructural setup along with KYC providers and accounting services results in 42,000 EUR. Under ‘Fully Operational’ the setup costs 33,0000 EUR for a regulations-based operational start and for ‘Basic’ it costs 14,000 EUR for registration under minimum regulations.

For IFZA the ‘Complete’ infrastructural setup along with KYC providers and accounting services results in 33,000 EUR. Under ‘Fully Operational’ the setup costs 23,140 EUR for a regulations-based operational start and for ‘Basic’ it costs 9050 EUR for registration under minimum regulations.


It is a great scope in Dubai for anybody to obtain a crypto license as it paves way for new investors for many gainful business opportunities in the futuristic commercial sector and world ahead.
