Shiba Inu is to take on the metaverse realm and will release SHIB Metaverse Designs soon. Marcie Jastrow, the Metaverse advisor with Shiba Inu, told the community that the team working on SHIB: The Metaverse would provide timely feedback and updates regarding the project in the following weeks.

Marcie, in an event, said that In the coming weeks, more commentaries would be released answering questions like– What will be the actual plot sizes in the Shiba Inu’s virtual land and more.
The updates will be regarding the SXSW feedback, in concern to conveying the community about their learning process.
Jastrow said the metaverse team would soon release the new designs created for the SHIB: The Metaverse. But the dates and other details for release were not provided, saying that the community would see the progress of every aspect related to the much-awaited project in weeks to come.
What Has the SHIB Metaverse Team Done So Far?
SHIB: The Metaverse is Shuba Inu’s official metaverse project, launched in March 2022. Since its inception, the project is believed to have made considerable progress like
- Releasing a few designs of the hubs, and
- Adding acclaimed entertainment veterans like Jastrow.
The Launch of SHIB: The Metaverse has been exciting and presented the opportunity for memecoin fans to own virtual land plots. These 100,595 plots are divided into four distinct tiers. The landowners could create a passive income source and facilitate the collection of in-game resources available within the project.
The four districts are:

- Technology
- Defence and
- Currencies.
The team recently released the concept artwork for 11 hubs available on SHIB: The Metaverse, and in March 2023, an exclusive preview of one of the hubs called WAGMI Temple was shown at the SXSW 2023 festival in Austin, Texas.
