Shiba Inu developers revealed in a Monday update that the Shiba Inu’s Metaverse, a project that improves the usability of the (SHIB) Shiba Inu ecosystem, is set to begin in December.
“While all progress takes time, the MV group is confident that by the end of 2023, clients will have the opportunity to investigate a portion of the region in this phenomenal world, shape, plan, play, and create inside it,” designers said Monday.
However, the developers stressed that not all regions of the Metaverse will be completed because it is a continuous effort.
Landowners can use their plots to acquire in-game resources, gain rewards, and make passive money. Furthermore, the developers intend to implement a method of earning money and provide players with a private area in which to build and manage their projects.
Users will have the option to create and construct humanoid dog-shaped avatars to explore, visit, and interact with areas In the metaverse. Users will also be able to contribute to the game’s economy.
Shibarium, is a layer 2 network that will launch in the future and will use Shiba ecosystem tokens such as bone (BONE) and leash (LEASH) to construct the metaverse (LEASH). Shibarium’s testnet is already active.
Shiba Inu in Metaverse

According to the blog, some of the metaverse lands will not be auctioned since they will be used as common grounds. These include roads, avenues, boulevards, hubs, and other similar structures. Public land is the only land that can be acquired.
