Procter & Gamble Stock Added $0.49 to its Price Last Week

Procter & Gamble’s (NYSE: PG) stock price performance showed a little price gain last week. The recent week’s gain was more than 1%, and the stock closed at $146.56 by adding $0.12 on June 9, Friday. The opening price of the stock was at $145.68 while its high and low were at  $146.78 and $144.73, respectively.

According to Tradingview, in one month the PG stock price dropped by more than 4% while its year-to-date (YTD) decline was nearly 3%. The recent closing price of the stock was above its 200-day EMA as the stock showed the dominance of bears in the market.

On May 31, PG stock experienced good trading volume with bear dominance that took its RSI near the oversold zone. The downward trend of the stock turned into an upward trend from the beginning of this month, and active bulls in the market have succeeded in holding the PG stock price near its 200-day moving average.

As shown in the price-chart above, when the company reported its Q3 2023 earnings and revenue reports on April 21, the stock price surpassed its 20-day moving average. This upward surge resulted in the stock being traded at a price of $156.00.

The one year price target set by analysts is at $166.51 which is up by more than 13%. The maximum estimate that the stock has is at $180.00 while the minimum estimate is at $142.00.

The Procter & Gamble company has a market cap of nearly $345.43 Billion, while the total revenue for Q3 2023 was $20.07 Billion. It is 3.39% lower compared to the previous quarter. Additionally, the net income for the same quarter was $3.40 Billion. Its dividends are paid quarterly and the last dividend per share was $0.94.

Furthermore, the EPS for Q3 2023 are $1.37 whereas the estimation was $1.32 which accounts for a 3.56% surprise. The revenue for the same period amounts to $20.10 Billion despite the estimated figure of $19.28 Billion. Although the estimated EPS for the next quarter is $1.32, and revenue is expected to reach $19.97 Billion.

In the preceding year, the company achieved a remarkable revenue of $80.19 billion, with an impressive contribution of approximately $27.56 billion originating from its most lucrative segment, Fabric & Home Care.
