Polkadot Decoded: the Flagship Event Is Just 2-Weeks Away

As per the official Twitter account of the Polkadot Decoded, it is its “biggest event” of this year. One can choose from a hybrid or virtual ticket and join this event, featuring over 100 speakers and 100 blockchain projects from within and beyond the ecosystem. Moreover, this event will provide two days of insights from the visionaries and innovators in the web3 space.

Polkadot Decoded: the Event Highlights

Polkadot, the blockchain platform, returns with the fourth edition of its annual flagship event, Polkadot Decoded, which will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark. According to the platform, on 28th and 29th of June 2023 an “even bigger” event will take place. 

The blockchain platform has brought itself to prominence as the largest multi-chain ecosystem in the Web3 space. Being the flagship event, this flagship event is evolving with it. The event will feature presentations by founders and co-founders of various web3 operators. Some of them are as the following:

  • Giulia Maresca, founder, and CEO of PublicPressure, an (non-fungible token) NFT Music Platform
  • Alex Wilke, co-founder of Pendulum, a smart blockchain connecting fiat currency and decentralized finance (DeFi)
  • James Wo, founder, and CEO of DFG, a group managing $1 Billion worth of digital & blockchain assets
  • Daniel Schoenberger, the Chief Legal Officer of Web3 Foundation
  • Brenda Loya, CEO of Tellor, a decentralized oracle for DeFi
  • Dmitry Zhelezov, co-founder of Subsquid, a full stack blockchain indexing solution

This event will be a complete “hybrid event featuring in-person as well as virtual events.” It will showcase 100+ keynote speakers, 50+ presentations, and numerous demonstrations of hands-on projects over multiple stages. Moreover, it will also include presentations from businesses like Deloitte, Vodafone, BCG, and more.

The flagship event will also focus on the future scope of the development of the blockchain platform in the web3 space. Moreover, the attendees will get “a chance to get hands-on experience with various Polkadot projects as well as a chance to meet the team behind Polkadot.”

It will also feature small meeting rooms for the attendees and the participating members of the event to promote networking and one-on-one exchange of ideas.

Furthermore, as the blockchain platform has announced, it will give “a proof-of-attendance NFT” to everyone who will attend this conference from the new hybrid decoded collection. A special tier 1 token will also be given to the first 500 offline registrations on the day of the event at the venue.

Last but not least, the event will feature “a hackathon” hosted by Encode, a web3 community. It also hosts various educational programs, hackathons, and boot camps, in partnership with the blockchain platform.

At press time, the native token of the blockchain platform, DOT, is trading at $4.35 with 6.97% of decrease in the last 24 hours. It noted a trading volume of $186.56 Million, with a current market cap of $5.19 Billion.
