Ripple Labs Invests in AI Metaverse Startup, Futureverse

Futureverse is a metaverse and artificial intelligence (AI) startup, specially designed for the gaming industry. In its recent Tweet shared on July 18, 2023, Futureverse stated that it has “closed $54 Million series A round led by 10T Holdings.” Along with the participation from Ripple Labs, Futureverse will scale its AI and metaverse technologies.

About New AI and Metaverse Startup

According to its recent Tweet, Futureverse platform enables “open, scaleable, and interoperable apps, games and experiences.” Meanwhile, it has developed a public decentralized blockchain network, The Root Network. Futureverse says that it is “far more than just a blockchain.”

The metaverse and AI startup also noted about core protocols, UX protocols, and metaverse protocols. The core protocols include, L1 Blockchain, L2 Scaling, Integrated EVM, On-Chain Assets, In-Chain Exchange Protocol, On-Chain Collectibles, Efficient Staking Protocol, and On-Chain Governance.

Furthermore, the UX protocols include Any-token Gas, Identity Protocol, Smart Wallet Protocol, Cross-Chain Data + Interoperability. Metaverse protocols include Asset Registry Comms, Social + Data Protocol, and AI Protocol. Notably, its partnership with Ripple has “The Root Network integrated with XRPL and supports the use of XRP as a GAS token as well as the XLS-20 NFT standard.”

Futureverse will also lead a new frontier of AI gaming with the FIFA World Cup AI League, a “smart football” game which will be available on both iOS and Android. Whereas, AI boxing up next with The Next Legends, a strategic, AI training game.

The startup further announced a strategic partnership with blue-chip NFT collection Cool Cats, integrating their iconic brand with our cutting-edge tech and welcoming Cool Cats holders into the Futureverse community.

The Official Statements

According to the Co-Founders of Futureverse Aaron McDonald and Shara Senderoff, “The metaverse has the potential to transform the way humans engage and collaborate with one another while improving our digital experiences across gaming, payments, asset management, and more.”

Monica Long, the President of Ripple, also said in a statement that “We are excited to continue to support the Futureverse vision and celebrate the Root Network’s integration with the XRP Ledger.”

Dan Tapiero, CEO of 10T, also said in a statement “Futureverse has developed an immersive and vertically-integrated metaverse platform that acts as an AI technology provider, metaverse infrastructure builder, layer 1 architect, creative studio, and digital community all-in-one.”
