Joseph Lubin is an American-Canadian entrepreneur and one of the pioneers of blockchain technology. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University. He also has a degree in Computer Science.
He was influenced by Bitcoin and joined Ethereum in 2014 as a Chief Operating Officer. Though he worked in various fields like robotics, finance, music, and software, he is inclined towards blockchains.
Later he launched ConsenSys which is a software production studio that develops tools, solutions, and applications for Ethereum. He is entangled with many initiatives to lead the governance and advancement of blockchain technology.

Joseph Lubin has a lot of work experience. Before working at ConsenSys, he worked in many companies in different positions. His first professional service was at System Laboratory Princeton as a Manager of Robotics and Expert between 1987-1992.
From 1995-1998, he worked as a Research Scientist at TOMANDANDY. In 1999, he joined as a VP of Technology Private Wealth Management Division at Goldman Sach and continued till 2001. From 2001 to 2003, he worked as the Director of Blacksmith Technologies. In January 2012, he joined as CEO of SyNerG Music. He served there till 2014.

Joseph Lubin invested in blockchain projects like Kikitrade which is a trading platform for cryptocurrencies. According to Crunchbase, the latest investment he made was on April 9, 2021, when Kikitrade raised $8M in seed round.
He also invested in DELV in the seed round on March 25, 2021. DELV delivers technological solutions. Further, he also invested in Myco in the pre-seed round on Feb 10, 2021. He has partner investments with many organizations like Connext Labs, Candy Digital, Spruce, Virtue Poker, W3BCLOUD, Truffle Suite, Blok-Z, and Civil.

ConsenSys launched Zero Knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine public testnet on March 28, 2023. Ergo, it competes with other crypto firms in the race. Zero Knowledge is a technology that uses cryptography to increase transaction speed and also decreases the gas fees on blockchains.
