“Around half of the dozens of books being sold on Amazon with my identity, and surprisingly I haven’t written or published any of the books”, disclosed Jane Friedman.
The scenario can become a serious problem for the book publishing world in the near future, she added. The books are generated by the huckster with the help of AI and are listed on Amazon. According to Friedman, Amazon refused the request to unlist the books from its website. Also, the book does not hold any trademark to her own name.
Some of the books like “Your Guide to Writing a Bestseller eBook on Amazon” and “Promote to Prosper: Strategies to Skyrocket Your eBook Sales on Amazon” are not written by Friedman and are listed on Amazon with her name.
The Reason Behind Unlisting
