Polkadot, the blockchain network, once again shared its roundup that adds about the recent happenings on its network. As per its recent X (formerly known as Twitter) post, shared on August 21, 2023, Polkadot shared “its latest news from all the various ecosystem teams.”

Polkadot Roundup Highlights

At first, Polkadot added about its upcoming developer conference, Sub0 which will be for innovators and developers. This conference will be a two-day conference held in Lisbon, Portugal and online, on September 19-20, 2023. Sub0 gives “a two-day deep dive into all things Web3, where one can share their ideas and learn from Web3 pioneers.”

This developer conference will also share a platform where the participants can “innovate without boundaries.” According to Polkadot, at Sub0 the participants will learn how to “leverage the highest quality & most flexible blockspace, build next-gen multichain decentralized applications (dApps).”

The blockchain network has also mentioned Moonbeam Network, a smart contract platform that introduced Moonbeam Routed Liquidity (MRL), a one-click feature. According to Polkadot, MRL open-ups new possibilities for decentralized finance (DeFi) on its network. Moreover, every parachain can now access billions in liquidity from over 20 blockchain networks via Wormhole crypto.

Astar Network, a scalable network that powers global web3 vision for all, also shared the “great news.” According to its X-post, “a monumental milestone for dApp staking has been achieved recently with EVM support.” After this, the users can now stake on dApps using MetaMask, a Web3 wallet.

However, currently, it is available on the Shibuya testnet. While “Astar will begin onboarding EVM-based projects to the dApp staking system in the coming months.”

Progressive Growth in The Blockchain Network

With the expansion of the era of Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG) multichain, Origin Trail invited blockchains to integrate the OriginTrail DKG with its EVM- compatible blockchains.

SORA, a multiverse economic order with on-chain governance to propose/fund/goods/services, unleashed SORA Card. According to the network, it is a solution that brings an IBAN and debit card to users’ decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.

In the long-tailed X-post, Polkadot further added that Subsocial Chain, a social layer of the internet, announced its planning. As it noted Subsocial “plans to launch Creator Staking to incentivize content, community, & application creators to grow the network.”

Moreover, Manta Network has also shared about its partnership with Polyhedra Network. Their partnership will bring “zkBridge to the Manta Network ecosystem with fully trustless and efficient interoperability through advanced ZKP technology.”

The blockchain network ended the thread with kudos to its developer community. Polkadot ended the post while sharing the update that its developer community is helping Parity Technologies’ DevRel team. On the other hand, it became the first blockchain team that is nominated for the Best DevRel Program Overall award by Data Protocol.
