This results in the Parity Ethereum being out of sync with Ethereum Classic blockchain.
Moving further, the community appealed to move with the following suggestions:
- Replace it by ETC Core The Core Geth client that maintained by team v1.11.0,
- Update to the exclusive version of OpenEthereum client v3.0.1 version, and
- Immediately migrate to Core Geth.
However, the ETC alleged that OpenEthereum continues sending blocks into a single chain. The problem occurs in the delay of confirmed transactions and involuntary blockchain restructuring.
The bug only Affected the Parity Ethereum programs
Moreover, several consumers are dependant on the OpenEthereum, as the version v3.0.0 has degraded syncing performance. However, when it is synced, it retracts medially and then recovers.
Besides this, the owners of nodes running the Core Geth client will face no problem with this issue. The bug only affects the Parity Ethereum programs.
Further, reported that the bug is not splitting the network. While it is putting the services and customers at risk.
