The twitter handle for Ethereum Classic announced the ETC upgrade Aztlan code-named ECIP-1061 is now in integration with Hyperledger Besu and is released the version dubbed as v1.3.9. The handle also shared a GitHub link to download the new upgrade.

Hyperledger Besu is an enterprise graded and java based ETC client, licensed with Apache 2.0. At the end of the note, the ETC twitter handle conveyed special thanks to PegaSys Engineering, which is focused on Blockchain implementation and development.

It is based on the Ethereum platform and offering services to build and develop on Ethereum Blockchain, and it also showed gratitude to ChainSafe Blockchain developers based in Toronto, Canada. Hyperledger Besu is a distributed ledger software that is supporting the Aztlan upgrade.

Hyperledger Besu has run tests on a few networks such as Rinkeby, Ropsten, and Gorli. It is an Ethereum client designed as an enterprise-friendly feature for both public and private use in network applications. It is based on many algorithms, such as PoW and PoA (IBFT, IBFT 2.0, Etherhash, and Clique).

The new upgrade of Aztlan and Phoenix is expected to be launched on 10th June 2020, which will activate Ethereum Classic Mainnet. The Phoenix upgrade is for any rectifying any errors developed in the Aztlan upgrade. Both the upgrades will occur parallelly when the block number reaches 10,500,839 in the Ethereum Mainnet.

This upgrade is expected to bring the ETC into the bullish trend from its never-ending bear hold. However, it is showing slight traces of climbing up with average bulls of 0.58%. It continues to show bearish side.

From yesterday’s trade ETC lost $0.4 at -3.44%. The ROI is looking positive at 1,453.61%, which is good news for long time traders, but it is a nightmare for short time traders. It has lost its rank from the top 10 and is now sitting at #15, according to CoinMarketCap analysis.
