Branden Blumer, in his recent tweet, said that those who are attacking EOS are just trying to create fear without in substance.

The CEO and also the co-founder of Block.one, Branden Blumer, expressed his views on the topic of EOS being under attack and what the motive of the attackers is.

Block.one is a company that is registered in the Cayman Islands that had begun offering EOS tokens to the public in June of the year 2017 and raised over $4 billion, which was one very big record for an Initial Coin Offering (ICO).

Block.one had also made the EOSIO platform according to the white paper published in the year 2017. The EOSIO was released as open-source software in June of 2018. The platform provided anyone to launch the EOS blockchain after the software had been released.

Dawn 1.0 was the first testnet and was released on the 3rd of September in 2017, and the second testnet version came exactly one month after the first one. The company wanted to make sure that the distribution of the software was widespread, and hence they released a huge amount of one billion tokens as ERC-20 by Block.one.

Binance research recorded that the activity on the EOS Dapps was way more than any other activity of Dapps based on the TRON network or the Ethereum network. Almost 99 percent of the transactions that require or involve a smart contract of a Dapp are being made on EOS.
