Ethereum Core Developer Afri Shedon was tested positive for CoronaVirus (Covid-19), he shared the positive results on his twitter handle. He told about the symptoms and his timing of infection back to when he had attended the EthCC (Ethereum Community Conference), and he caught flu-type signs from there. He advised others to take precautionary measures and stay at home, mostly if possible.
I was tested positive for #COVID19.
Given my symptoms and timing, I was probably infected at @EthCC_ and/or one of the side/after events.

Previously Zhen Yu Yong was tested positive for the noble virus Corona, Zhen being the founder of the decentralized platform Torus also was a member of participation in the Ethereum Community Conference held between March 1st to March 5th. The key speakers of this conference were Vitalik Buterin and Joseph Lubin, the co-founders of Ethereum.
Yet Another Participant of Ethereum Conference tested Positive
Coronavirus has caused a global disruption affecting lives and downsizing the global economy. Another upcoming community gathering has already been canceled due to the effect of coronavirus pandemic; on the official website, the community has announced the cancellation of EDCON 2020. EDCON was planned in the city of Vienna in the WU University.
ChainSafe’s COO, Gregory Markou in his latest twitter post shared that the CEO and Co-founder of ChainSafe, Aidan Hyman has been diagnosed with coronavirus, after attending EthCC conference and Now he is back in Canada and been isolated since then.

EDCON conference initially planned for the first week of April. EDCON is Community Ethereum Development Conference is a non-profit global Ethereum conference that happens once in each year in different nations, and it is mainly committed to serving the Ethereum ecosystem, developing the communication, and interaction of Ethereum communities worldwide.
Many members of the Ethereum development and ecosystem team were planned to speak at the conference, including the co-founders. No further report of this has been submitted on the postponement of the conference while given the restriction of movements imposed by individual nations to quarantine the virus and its spreading is largely effective, no official date can be confirmed at the conference yet. The conference conducted in Paris was the last gathering of its kind.
