Visa’s Fintech Fast Track Program To Launch Bitcoin Rewards Card

The crypto payment gateway Fold has recently joined Visa’s Fintech Fast Track program, aiming for the introduction of a Visa payment card that will offer the users to spend U.S. Dollars and earn Bitcoin cash rewards.

Visa’s Fintech Fast Track program

On Thursday, it was found that Fold joined Visa’s Fintech Fast Track program that was hosted by the payments giant enhanced the fintech startups to integrate with Visa.

As per Fold, this is for the first time for a crypto-based company to participate in the event. The SVP and global head of fintech at Visa Terry Angelos stated that with the participation in the Visa’s Fast Track Program, the significant Fintech companies such as Fold will benefit from exceptional access to Visa experts, technology, and resources.

Further adding to this the SVP notified that the program offers new resources that swiftly emerging companies must scale with efficiency.

Apart from Fold, some other crypto exchanges like Crypto.com, Binance, and Coinbase have declared their own debit cards that offer users to spend bitcoin.

Fold CEO and cofounder Will Reeves said that Fold is the first company that allows users to spend their bitcoin in the real world. With the development of Bitcoin, Fold has morphed to fit within the true value of Bitcoin. This means that Fold is offering the users to accumulate this new asset in the easiest way but to do in a way that one doesn’t have to pass through the KYC process.

According to the CEO, the new debit card will be released n Q3 and to register the interest of the users, a waitlist is open in the platform where the users have to provide their phone numbers and addresses to verify possession of a bank account.

However, Fold is going to launch its new Visa cards in July but the banking services provider is still unknown.
