- Susan G. Komen, the world’s top breast cancer organization, has announced that it will take cryptocurrency in collaboration with a donation platform.
- The charity platform will accept a diverse range of digital assets, including popular crypto meme coins like Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and Dogelon Mars (ELON), and cryptocurrencies like Gala (GALA), Orchid (OXT), and Civic (CVC).
The charity is named after Susan Goodman Komen, a fashion model who died three years after being diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 33. Nancy Brinker, younger sister of Susan G. Komen, created the charity in 1980. Komen requires donations in order to deliver health education and support breast cancer research. Since 1982, it has invested more than $1.1 billion in research.

Susan G. Komen has links in over 50 countries, with the biggest being in Germany and Italy. The non-profit breast cancer charity organization has lately expanded into the UAE, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.
Komen is finding methods to raise money not only in fiat currency but also in cryptocurrency. The group is open to accepting donations in several forms in order to finance breast cancer research. They also use the funding to educate women on how to spot cancer early. According to reports, they have spent about $1.1 billion on breast cancer research since 1982.
