Our latest Genesis 8.1 figure platform is among the most versatile ever made, allowing 3D artists to craft truly unique digital humans and creatures.
Several artists are using DAZ 3D. How does the platform help create amazing artworks easily?
Daz Studio makes it easier than ever to create breathtaking 3D artwork thanks to our library of ready-made assets, advanced morph capabilities, and effortless posing controls. Our smart content feature automatically shows you which assets are compatible with the currently selected model, allowing clothing, accessories, and more to be applied with just a few clicks.
Plus, viewport rendering allows artists to quickly design and preview high-quality renders in real-time, so there’s no need to wait for lengthy render times to see how your scene is coming along.
Top-level 3D artists are constantly coming up with new and innovative artworks on the platform. While going through the platform, we have found that the artists have also contributed their designs to some popular movies, comics, and games. Tell us about how DAZ helps creators in selling their amazing content?
Daz 3D is home to an exclusive collection of 3D models from some of the best digital artists and 3D modelers in the industry. 3D creators can apply to join our community of Daz Published Artists and sell their products in our online marketplace. It’s free to apply and we’re always open to new artist submissions!
We ensure content performs well by providing a thorough quality assurance process, and marketing items submitted by Published Artists to an active audience of engaged users. Daz Published Artists receive 50% of the net revenue generated by their products.We also offer generous buyout opportunities.
DAZ 3D also allows its users to create amazing NFTs. How to mint a Non-Fungible Token on the platform?
While we don’t currently have a marketplace for minting NFTs, Daz Studio users can create unique rendered images that are theirs to keep. This rendered artwork can then be minted and sold on popular NFT marketplaces like OpenSea.
The craze for NFTs is authentic in the digital ecosystem. DAZ 3D has a head-turning NFTs collection known as “Non-Fungible People”. Would you mind showering some light on the crypto-collectibles collection?
Our debut NFT collection, Non-Fungible People (or NFP for short), is a hyper-realistic PFP collection featuring stunning, powerful, self-expressive female, and non-binary 3D models. Each unique model is fully rigged for use in Daz Studio and exportable to popular 3D software like Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, and more. You can even become your NFP in livestreams and video calls with motion capture tech. The possibilities around what holders can do with their NFPs are nearly endless.
We just announced partnerships with Grace Gaustad, where we designed an honorary NFP specifically for Grace to recognize her advocacy for inclusion and acceptance of all, and RUBY 9100M, a trans-human, digital avatar and virtual fashion icon. The collection consists of 8,888 beautiful rendered avatars algorithmically generated using the leading character generation tech on the market, with proof of ownership stored on the Ethereum blockchain. Each NFP is rendered with a unique combination of features and accessories pulled from a mind-boggling pool of over 30,000 traits.

We were thrilled to provide the utility tech that allows RTFKT’s CloneX avatars to enter the metaverse. The successful launch of their collection is inspirational.
The bet on metaverse utility is the next step for the NFT space as a whole. Incredible communities tied to fantastic artwork have been thriving in these early days; however, as the industry matures, more and more people will be looking for lasting value. Virtual worlds in the metaverse are on the rise and everyone needs a way to engage with the digital space and express themselves — personal 3D avatars are going to become as commonplace as social media profile pictures.
What are your upcoming plans over the next five years?
Ultimately, we plan to become an NFT utility powerhouse by helping creators across the globe enhance their collections with fully rigged 3D versions of their PFPs. We’ll further expand as an NFT thought leader, and continue to bring NFTs to the metaverse to take this cutting-edge space to the next level.
