Ukraine Puts Polka Dot Wallet On Vanguard
Amid the heavy chaos and anarchy going on in Ukraine, it has opened up a Polkadot Wallet to receive donations in DOT tokens. As of this writing, the nation has received $215,780 in DOT cryptocurrency.
Apart from this, the nation has piled up $20 Million in cryptocurrencies through donations, where the sector leaders Deepak Thapliyal and FTX CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried gave a noteworthy amount of sum to help Ukraine in war.
As per data gathered by crypto-asset analysis organization, Elliptic, there have been over 24,000 virtual asset donations been made till now. A Bitcoin Whale solely donated $3 Million.
Recently, co-founder of Ethereum, Gavin Woods, made a pledge to donate $5 Million, which is yet to come. He said he will do it as soon as they post a Polkadot address. Well, Ukraine has posted that wallet, and now it’s time for Gavin to send the help he promised.
In the Tweet, the Ukrainian government also mentioned that, apart from Polkadot, more crypto addresses will be posted soon to receive help against their invaders.
