Solana NFTs Live On OpenSea
Following previous week’s teaser that support was on the way, NFTs minted of Solana ecosystem are now live on OpenSea, biggest marketplace by sales.
OpenSea is majorly based around Ethereum and at present, it is shedding dominance over NFT sector by a big margin. With inclusion of Solana, OpenSea now accommodates collectibles from 2nd largest FT ecosystem outside of Ethereum and its L2 scaling solutions.
As per the marketplace, Solana support was included in beta, with limited collection coverage. OpenSea states that is supports 165 collections at present, although if folks search this marketplace by chain, it exhibits over 865,000 NFTs minted on Solana Network.
Well liked Solana NFT collections such as Shadowy Super Coder, Aurory, Degenerate Ape Academy, DeGods, and Solana Monkey Business are listed on OpenSea at present.
Solana provides a prominently reduced transaction fees than Ethereum, and highly energy efficient blockchain ecosystem which can manage bigger numbers of transactions at a time.
Solana Suffering From Network Issues
Solana NFTs went live earlier today on OpenSea after official declaration, but were lost due to some reason for numerous hours. No official comment was given on this by OpenSea.
