Cryptocurrency exchanges and other firms in industry need to expand their operational regions for notable growth
Recently an Argentinian cryptocurrency exchange made an announcement of taking concrete actions regarding expansion of the crypto firm to Colombia. The company then will offer an all new option for crypto users and traders in the region and it will also offer a proposal based on an education proposal which is however yet to be revealed.
The launch will be aligned and maximize the efforts in the following two months with the opening of an office in the country. The exchange platform Ripio based in Argentina has offered more details about its Colombian expansion. The company has declared that it will also offer new proposals for traders and crypto users in Colombia, focusing on the other services including digital wallet.
Ripio has raised about $50 million in its series B funding round organized last year led by DCG. Exchange firm has said that it is planning to open a new office in Bogota in the next two months following the objective to offer a financial education proposal which unannounced yet.
About the new expansion plan and their offering in Colombo, Ripio team stated that the product offering of crypto exchange goes beyond being just an exchange which is the only service that other companies offer. It said that the main product of Ripio is their digital crypto wallets for several first time crypto users. Currently there are more than 3 million users on the crypto exchange to date.
Ripio also explained that it would have more focus on providing better customer support considering the fact that crypto users in Colombia have earlier experienced such problems with other exchanges located in the region. While the exchange firm has grown significantly over the past couple of years, it has achieved a user base of 400K to three million customers.
Crypto exchange has made its presence in Brazil, Argentia, Uruguay and Columbia and prepared its operations so impactful that they will be able to answer any requirement of customers in the region within no time.
Crypto users in Colombo have faced problems with Binance crypto exchange where the exchange had blocked their funds because of an ongoing investigation by a money laundering office from the Netherlands. On top of that the user has not even been informed by the exchange clearly on the subject. Ripio has plans to make sure that such situations would not be faced by crypto users in the area and set up a digital help center where real agents will address and resolve the user’s concerns.
