Bella Hadid Goes Cyborg
Another name added to the long list of celebrities in the NFT and metaverse sector, this time, it’s the beautiful American model Bella Hadid. She has joined forces with a social media network, reBASE, to create a collection of 11,111 NFT dubbed CY-B3LLA.
The fans of Bella Hadid will now have a chance to hold a virtual piece of the celebrity. These are not just images of the American model. The NFTs will contain a certificate of authority or serial number, making sure that only the holder is the sole owner of that piece of art.
To create this project, Bella Hadid worked with 10 distinct creatives that scanned her body to make the 3D design out of it, and offered the output in the form of a cyborg.
The idea for NFTs popped up due to her passion for gaming. She played Mario games while growing up with her brother, Anwar, who was always keen on World of Warcraft.
The American model loved the idea of aesthetic possibilities of generating art out of her pictures. She said that 200 cameras surrounded her to create the CY-B3LLA NFT collection, where different expressions and angles were captured for the project.
Bella Hadid surely knows how to fascinate her fans. Recently, she was seen in the Cannes Film Festival, she joined forces with Law Roach, a stylist, for an interesting string of archival dresses, involving pieces of Tom Ford’s Gucci era, Chanel and a vintage 1987 dress belonging to Versace.
Bella Hadid, who has shared her past experiences with anxiety, thinks highly of the metaverse, and believes that this still to be explored space contains a massive potential, which is more healthy and joyful in contrast to the present online realm we are living in.
She also shared that there will be a discord server for the NFT collection, where she is willing to drop by a couple of times every week to meet fans and friends.
