In Pennsylvania, USA, a crypto investor gave a tip to a waitress named Mariana Lambert of USD 3k. The customer ordered food from the restaurant worth USD 13.25. He claimed himself to be a crypto investor who lived out of the town.

CNN, a multinational news channel, investigated the case from Zachary Jacobson, who is a manager at Alfredo’s cafe who was present at the moment when Eric Smith (the crypto investor) visited the restaurant. He told the media that the investor was “trying to pay back to the community.”

“Mariana Lambert, the waitress at Scranton- based restaurant, was working for two years in that restaurant and stated that the money has helped her out.” Jacobson further added.

COVID- 19 pandemic has affected many staff members of the US restaurant and their many copies in other countries. They have lost their jobs, leaving them with no option for revenue.

The Crypto investor gave a tip in paper money, while nowadays, such investors are giving tips in digital coins such as Bitcoin to promote the industry worldwide and make aware the people who don’t know much about the digital currency and also have not started using and investing in it yet. 

Crypto addict tips USD 30 to a waitress

Before this, a crypto addict tipped a waitress from Argentina in Bitcoin. His act was caught on camera and went so viral that it became headlines for many news channels.

He tipped the waitress USD 30, which was 0.00524 BTC at the time. The waitress did not know how to use it, but the customer helped her with everything about digital money and the crypto industry.

“What do I have to do with this?” she asked humbly.

Then, the friend of that customer advised her to keep it for 20 years.
