Responding to a comment made by Sebastien Guillemot, the co-founder of dcSpark, Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, said the project’s backend community doesn’t have a “hush-hush” culture. While recalling the recent testnet controversy, Guillemot said that even implying such network issues can lead to “a multi-day panic.”

Input Output, the developers of Cardano, have reassured independent stake pool operators that Cardano Node version 1.34.2 was heavily tested and was ready for deployment. But operators ATADA and PoolTool found out about a critical bug in the client software soon after majority of stake operators hurried to upgrade the version for stimulating a Vasil hardfork combinator event

Adam Dean’s Tweet on Cardano Being “catastrophically broken”

Adam Dean, the developer, tweeted last week regarding Cardano being “catastrophically broken” due to a recently found bug. It led to a fierce discussion on Sebastien Guillemot’s social media channels. Now, it looks like the issue is resolved. But, according to Guillemot, the community should be able to have an honest discussion on the software, indicating the Ethereum community.

According to Hoskinson, the community is quite busy having discussions on Discord and Github. According to the Cardano founder, the technical discussions should not be on Telegram, Twitter, and Reddit as they would just “harm the process”.

Guillemot however doesn’t agree with Hoskinson’s view on the issue through the Cardano creator believes that there is a dire requirement for “high-quality channels.” Hoskinson believes that social media doesn’t embrace facts, depth, or empathy, it is ruled by mobs. Hoskinson further opined that Cardano continues to be his “greatest passion.” Further added that he wasn’t going anywhere to stress his commitment to the project.

The Vasil hardfork is being considered one of the “most significant updates” till now on Cardano. Initially, it was scheduled to launch on June 29. Then, Input Output postponed the hard fork first to the last week of July and then for “a few weeks” to have time for testing.
