  • The team of Avalanche launched an essential security update on 5 September.
  • The new update was effective on both Fuji and Mainnet.

Avalanche [AVAX] network has seen some good signs in the short term. Recently, Platypus, a noble stable swap on Avalanche network, launched the industry’s first voting gauge. Complying with this, the company witnessed vital growth entirely. But the question arises, could it continue this growth?

Causing destruction

The team which manages this network launched an essential security update in effectively on 5 September on Fuji and Mainnet both. The head of engineering provided some vision on the social media platform.

This update fell in compliance with former updates to boost Avalanche’s reliability completely. In line with this growth, the community asked users to do the essential.

Still, operators could find faults after the update. Regarding this, the engineering chief stated,

“You may witness some irrevelant faults logs (“BAD BLOCK”) on your node after updating. These may carry on till the Apricot Phase 6 start. This is not indicating you should demote your node.”

Having said that, growth activity along with the trading volume marked a rise. Not only that, but monthly transactions of the platform witnessed unmatched levels. Ava Labs officer Patrick Sutton verified that Avalanche had gained an all-time high in monthly transactions the past week.

Moreover, the network reached 32.7 million transactions in the last month and still increasing at the press time if we go through the previous report.

Things were not that easy in that space. Ava Labs, the developer of the Avalanche blockchain, was accused that he was indulged in giving money to the lawyers to attack and damage crypto companies and projects that may face off with Ava Labs or Avalanche in any way.”

No need to describe it, the accusations moved towards controversy, which eventually resulted in a price fall.

Nevertheless, Avalanche [AVAX] stood in the first 20 cryptos by market capitalization with a value of $18.53 at the time of writing.

Still, the lead fought to make its way back from its potent November 2021 highs of $135.
