Cryptocurrencies become widely popular for quite some time, given their adoption and acceptance all over. Although, one of the popular sections within the crypto space is meme currency. And among various memecurrencies, two top meme tokens—Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB)—hold the most crowd in terms of fame. Dogecoin remains in news for its promotion by influential personalities like Elon Musk while Shiba Inu has one of the strongest communities.
While adding more to support the influence of memecurrencies, former US congressional candidate David Gohshtein joined the queue of supporters. Recently Gohshtein was seen to show his support for both the top meme tokens Dogecoin and Shiba Inu.
On 19th September 2022, David Gohshtein posted on Twitter stating that he can be in the ecosystem of both DOGE and SHIB. he cited the example of someone who would criticize him for his choice, like someone who would say to him that someone can’t have iPhone and Samsung at the same time.
Gohshtein, in his tweet, went on to show his support for Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB). While looking closely at the crypto space, anyone could tell the disparity and rivalry between the clans supporting both crypto assets. So much so that the Shiba Inu community propagates the meme currency as a potential ‘Dogecoin killer’.
However, supporters like Gohshtein do not differentiate and equally support both the memecurrencies.
A recent tweet of Ghoshtein Media founder is treated as an addition to his statement that he stated on Twitter about four months earlier. In his tweet in April, he stated that he was allowed to keep both Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).
Further, he also added that people are in the market to make profits for themselves and not to choose from sides. He compared this to sports.
