  • Meta has launched a new feature for Instagram and Facebook.
  • Mark Zuckerberg will release its VR headsets soon.
  • The company changed its name from Facebook to Meta during October 2022.

More Comfort  to Users

Mark Zuckerberg has a long term vision regarding Meta, as the company is rapidly working towards its various aspects. Be it metaverse development or NFT integration in one of its social media applications. Recently, the company rolled out its latest feature which will allow the users to switch between FB and Insta instantly.

The feature will offer all the notifications — from Facebook or Instagram — to the users at one place. They need to share their credentials on the same Account Center to enable this feature. Zuck Bucks started testing the Non-fungible tokens on its photo sharing app during May 2022, which gained a lot of traction from NFT enthusiasts.

Last week, Bloomberg reported that Meta will release its virtual reality headsets in few weeks. But it appears like “Zuckerberg will not live up to the Mark.” Meta has sold more than 14 Million devices to this date. But the users have visited the metaverse through computer screens too.

According to Bloomberg, Sam Huber, LandVault CEO, said that “Mark Zuckerberg’s metaverse will be a 3-D version of Facebook, but users can enter the realm through desktop or similar devices.”

VR, AR, MR, and XR, combination of the all three technologies, will serve as a gateway to the metaverse. Though we might not witness a dystopian world similar to “The OASIS” from Ready Player One, but the users are expected to surge the initial sales of these devices.

Many believe that metaverse is going to be a gaming experience, this brings us to the game streamers. Currently, Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 remains the ultimate hype among them. Reason being the ultra realism of the game. In contrast to VR games, PC games outdo them instantly as the movement in Virtual Reality feels awkward. Don’t believe this, go play Sniper Elite VR and then Warzone 2.0, it will reveal the real reason game streamers prefer a traditional system instead of a headset.

Prices of these devices are not going to be dirt cheap, but it surely will attract affluent individuals at first. It will take some time to slim the prices, but hopefully it will become affordable to everyone. Meta is working hard to become the biggest player in the metaverse sector. But the company has to face rivals like Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia etc. on its way. And who knows, Google may appear out of nowhere to kick-out all of them in a single go, like it always does.
