Epic Games CEO Laughs Off ‘Death’ Of Metaverse, Says 600 Million To Attend Its ‘Wake’

Tim Sweeney, CEO, of Epic Games, sneered at the Metaverse’s defunct getting popular in his Tuesday tweet. He did add comments mocking this hearsay. He said let’s all come together to commemorate the bygones then. Addressing Fortnite, Roblox, Minecraft, Pubg mobile, VR chat, Sandbox, and others, he claimed that they can grieve for their gone 3D times. Fortnite is the most popular game of Epic Games with over 400 million players. Its total worth is around 4.7 billion. 

The world of video gaming sees Sweeney as an industry giant. He is the one holding the brands Fortnite and Unreal Engine. He added to his words saying let’s organize an online wake for 600,000,000 monthly active users. Leaving the rumors as uncertain questions Epic Games is now reaching the edge of the metaverse giving a boom in the field. LEGO Group’s cartel KIRKBI and Sony Group each handed out $1 billion for a $2 billion investment for Epic Games’ metaverse launch.
