In the recent tweet of Axie Infinity, it disclosed that its card-based strategy game, Origins, is now available on the Apple App Store. With this achievement, Axie infinity will be the first externally-purchased NFT usable on the App Store. This card-based strategy game is developed by Sky Mavis, which is a game developer firm. After this launch, people from Latin America and Asia mostly looked excited.
It is quite clear that Apple and Axie Infinity are working together to provide a good gaming experience with this add-on.
However, it will be available in countries namely Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Venezuela , Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam. It will also pave the way for other crypto-integrated games to do the same. After this announcement, there is a significant increase in the price of Axie infinity (AXS). It will also help to expand the user base via Google Play and App store.
As noted in the official blog of Axie Infinity, the iOS Players will now able to use their NFT axies in along with this release. Mavis Market, the curated NFT marketplace, also launched. As Axie Infinity noted, Mavis Market is Ronin’s first generalized NFT marketplace. In which, “Axie DoLL Sidekicks and AxieChat Premium 2023 NFTs” are the first two NFT collections.
Moreover, the official currency of Mavis Market is RON, while the user can pay in AXS, SLP, ETH. In its global expansion, Origins will open the access to Apple users across Latin America and Asia. The vast adoption in these regions surged its token price upside within a few hours.
Axie Infinity ($AXS) Price Analysis
At press time, the price of AXS is trading at $7.22, with nearly 8% of price drop in the last 24-hours. However, within a few hours, the coin soared nearly 12% then slid 8% and is now trading at its current price. The weekly price analysis shows that AXS price surged almost 5%, while in a month the coin declined nearly 20%, according to the data sourced from Tradingview.
As Axie Infinity recently announced its game that will be available on Apple App Store, the coin price soared and then slid. In the last 24-hours, AXS token gave its low at $7.17 while high was at $7.70.
Notably, the price of AXS token touched its 100-day EMA and then fell back near to its 20-day EMA. At present, Axie Infinity price has a 24-hour trading volume of $216.62 Million, while its current market cap is $844.22 Million.
