AAPL Stock Jumped 1.41% Intraday; Pre-Market Shows Uptrend

On May 26, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) AAPL Stock Stock jumped over 1.41% compared to the previous trading session.  

On Friday, AAPL Stock opened trading at $173.32 after hitting a high of $175.77 and registering a low of $173.11 was closed at $175.43. In Thursday’s trading session, the stock opened trading at $172.41 after hitting a high of $173.90; it closed at $172.99.

Apple is one of the largest technology companies in terms of revenue and most significant in terms of market capitalization. The company was co-founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne.

According to official data, Apple is selling more than 100 products in the global market. In 2022 total annual income of the company was $394.3 Billion, and it is expected to generate more revenue by the end of 2023. 

TradingView states that 99.91% of Apple shares are free float, and 0.09% are closely held. The company’s total market capitalization was $2.759 Trillion at press time. 

Apple majorly generates revenue from six segments, including iPhone, Service, Wearable, Home Accessories, Mac, and iPad. Over 37% of the company’s revenue is generated from the United States, and 24% is generated from 24.12%.

China is one of the significant markets for Apple sales and production and contributes 18% of the company’s revenue. 

Revenue and Earnings of Apple Inc. 

In Q1 2023, Apple reported revenue of $117.15 Billion was lower than the estimated amount of $121.33 Billion. In Q2, the reported revenue bypassed the company’s estimated $94.84 Billion.  

In Q1, EPS descended by 3.03% and reported EPS was $1.88, but the EPS reversed the track and reported 6.36% EPS in Q2. In 2022 Apple generated $205.49 Billion by selling iPhones. 

Per Crunchbase, Apple raised $6.2 Billion in seven funding rounds and is majorly funded by Microsoft, Berkshire Hathaway, and Sequoia Capital. Data from Nasdaq states that institutional holders hold 9,373,101,849 shares. 

Apple has acquired over 125 companies, including WaveOne, Credit Kudos, AI Music, Paws Inc, Mobeewave, Spaces, SABH’s Big Adventure, Scout FM, SourceDNA, and Vilynx.

The technology company has invested in over 20 companies, some of which include Globalstar, Trala, VamosVentures, SweetBio, gamma, UnitedMasters, and Alabama A&M University among others.

Vanguard Group Inc, Blackrock Inc, State Street Corp, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs Group Inc, JPMorgan Chase, and Norges Bank FMR LLC are some of the major institutional shareholders of Apple.
