Vault Music, a digital music format for collecting limited-run and exclusive music content, is ready to transform the traditional cassette culture of the late 1970s to 1990s. Cassette culture is an international music scene that emerged in the postpunk period. Vault Music announced the revival of music-sharing life with the launch of Cassette Culture 3.0.

Vault Music’s Initiative

Vault Music’s latest action is going to glimmer the music-sharing life in the near future. On 4 August 2023, Vault Music committed to rejuvenating music with the help of Web3 technology. “Vault Music wants to bring back the music and the tradition of tapping culture with modern technology” stated Nigel Eccles, CEO and co-founder of Vault Music.

Vault Music is built to tap movement and develop it over a broach and on-chain, he added. According to him, the fusion of technology with the cassette culture will preserve the music without degrading the value of the independent artist and an avenue to earn substantial income from the music.

With this perspective, Vault Music announced the launch of Cassette Culture 3.0 over the company’s blockchain-based music format soon.

Vault Music is the first ever company to develop an on-chain archive of live performances that represent the current music culture in New York City. The platform acts as a fusion of old and new music making the consumption and sharing of music more easy and efficient. Simply, the platform altered the way music enthusiasts share and enjoy music.

Using Vault Protocol, the platform has captured 50 live concert performances from New York City’s classic venues including The Bitter End, Bowery Electric, Mercury Lounge, Baby’s All Right, and many more. Each of the performances will be released on the company’s blockchain-based music platform as well as mobile apps including Android and iOS.

The platform simply empowers music as well as the artist to control the scarcity and price of music, along with releasing the music and live performances as digital albums that can be bought and resold by followers. In addition, the platform also allows users to purchase and play music in high-quality audio as well as other features like voice memos, concert videos, and backstage photos. Another key benefit of the platform is the easy sharing of live performances on chains with a larger fan base.

The Cassette Culture 3.0

The journey of Vault Music is not frozen in New York City and is planned to expand its roots to Los Angeles, London, Nashville, Amsterdam, and Austin by the end of 2023. The introduction of Cassette Culture 3.0 made the goal easy to achieve and added to reviving the traditional cassette culture. The idea is about rewriting the future of music distribution making music-sharing life more efficient.

Conclusion

Vault Music, a new home for collecting limited-run, exclusive, and live music, is now ready to rejuvenate the Cassette culture using Web3 technology. Cassette Culture 3.0 will make it easy for fans to revive the historic cassette culture over blockchain technology.
