Ubisoft has made a partnership to launch new electrode t-shirts with OWO. The partnership is regarding the creation of an advanced and intuitive haptic suit. The partnership is not aimed at the VR game Assassin’s Creed Nexus but rather at the VR game Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

The OWO haptics provides 10 electrified zones around the user’s shoulder. This haptic suit has the characteristic feature of a patented OWO skin which is made of gel pads and feedback devices. Parkour and combat are the elements in the game that will activate feedback in the haptic suit.

Details Regarding Haptic T-shirts with Sensations

The company says that it delivers 30 sensations with varied impacts including bullet wounds, machine gun recoil, wind, and punches. It seems suitable for the non-VR game Assassin’s Creed. Ubisoft is not revealing much about it.

The user can feel the sensation while wearing this suit. The variety of sensations includes free fall, dart, axe, dagger, punch, chest dagger wound, severe abdominal wound, etc.

As per OWO sites, it offers the suit integrations with the likes of Valorant, Fortnite, PUBG, CSGo, The Forest, Among Us, and Apex Legends. The launch of the OWO shirt is also not clear. AC Mirage itself launches on October 12th this year. Until then, there is plenty of time to add in OWO support for Nexus.

The answer of OWO is non-committable but it says that the partnership with Ubisoft does not stop at Mirage. Presently, the only Ubisoft title working is Assassin’s Creed Mirage. As this is a long-term partnership, more Ubisoft titles will be announced shortly.

OWO supports a variety of titles such as Half-Life: Alyx, Beat Saber, Until You Fall, and Arizona Sunshine. These are all PC versions that need third-party mods. However, individuals can choose to support the vest on almost any device since it connects with Bluetooth like bHepatics.

Ubisoft says that it supports the OWO Assassins Creed Mirage versions on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. OWO website will officially sell the edition and it will be sold as a bundle with the Assassin’s Creed Mirage game. The pricing is not disclosed, however, haptic t-shirts sell directly from OWO for $560.

Summary

The OWO Haptic Gaming System is a techy shirt that is used in VR setups to give players some physical sensations on their bodies that relates to actions in the game. On the other hand, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is not a VR game.

Ubisoft is partnering with the manufacturer of the Assassin’s Creed branded shirt that has the logo of the game and will include the haptic functionality in the game on all systems. It will let the user feel sensations while targeting and getting hurt during attacks.
