Polymath (POLY) is a platform which enables the creation and management of security tokens on the blockchain. It aims to simplify the complex and costly process of issuing and trading security tokens, by providing a unified standard, an institutional-grade blockchain, and a user-friendly interface.
Polymath’s standard, ERC 1400, is compatible with Ethereum, where over 200 security tokens have been launched using Polymath’s Token Studio.
Polymath’s blockchain, Polymesh, is designed specifically for security tokens, with features such as identity, compliance, confidentiality, and governance. The Polymath’s tools, such as the Token Studio and the Polymesh Dashboard, allow users to easily interact with the platform and the blockchain.
Its native token is POLY which is used to pay for services and access features on the platform. POLY holders can upgrade their tokens to POLYX, the native token of Polymesh, when the Mainnet launches.
Polymath crypto price jumped 3.49% in the past 24 hours and currently trades at $0.195. The price seems to be recovering from the recent fall after a short term surge. The recent decline has turned the long term trend in the favor of bears.
