CyBall is a blockchain game based on NFTs developed using the Binance Smartchain (BSC), and will soon be available on the Solana network. In this game, decentralized and autonomous players will require at least three CyBlocs to participate in matches that take place in a soccer-like arena against other players.
CyBall offers players rewards for winning matches and has tournaments for grand prizes. Players can play-to-earn and learn about cryptocurrencies through their earnings.
CyBlocs are the primary NFT characters in CyBall. The rarity of each CyBloc is categorized into five classes: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Legendary. The class of the CyBloc determines the range of its starting skill and its subsequent growth potential.
What are ‘Traits’ in CyBlocs?
Traits refer to the skills of each CyBloc that can be inherited or mentored (bred) to offspring CyBlocs. Each CyBloc can have one to three traits, and the greater the traits, the higher the potential to win more games. Each trait is also categorized as common, rare, or super rare. According to the whitepaper, there are currently 50 traits listed.
Some examples of CyBloc’s traits include Team Player (common), which boosts all of the CyBloc’s skills by +4 when it plays in a Tandem event, Front Runner (rare), which boosts all of the CyBloc’s skills by +6 if your team is leading at halftime, and National Superstar (super rare), which means that for each match, there is a 50% chance that all of this CyBloc’s skills are boosted by +12.

The Three Tokens of Cyball
Cyball’s economy revolves around three currencies: Cyboc Battery Token (CBT), Batteries, and Cyball Token (CBT). Each currency serves the Cyball community differently, with CBTs being earned in PVP matches and used by Cybloc owners if they choose to put their heroes up for rent. This token is used for both mentoring (breeding) and hire-a-coach (passive leveling up of CyBlocs) mechanics.
Batteries are the in-game currency that is earned in PVP matches and can be claimed by the player, becoming CBTs at a 1:1 ratio.
The governance token of CyBall is the CyBall token (CYB), which is rewarded to users during leagues and tournaments and can be staked by users. This token is also used for mentoring (breeding).
CyBall’s NFT marketplace allows users to buy and sell NFT game assets, including CyBlocs, CyPods, Stadiums, and CyBloc body parts and wearables.
What are CyLoans?
CyLoans is an automated feature that allows users to loan out their extra CyBlocs to other users. These are the users who may not be able to afford to buy their team but would like to play the game and earn enough to purchase their own CyBlocs. The owner can set a duration on how long a scholar can use the CyBlocs. This feature has been available since February 28th.
