As the presidential elections are near, the candidates are expanding their roots in the crypto industry. Donald Trump, Joe Biden, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., three popular presidential candidates, made countless comments on the power of cryptocurrency and its role in shaping the future of the US economy.       

Donal Trump’s Support To Cryptocurrency?

Trump, a prominent presidential candidate who is bullish on cryptocurrency, announced digital asset acceptance for the campaign. Bitcoin Magazine took to X to share Trump’s plan.     

 

As per the plan, Trump will accept major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and a few of the memecoins, including Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).

On May 8, during the NFT event at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, Trump also raised his voice for NFTs and digital assets, especially BTC, showcasing Trump’s love for crypto. 

On May 31, Trump was found guilty of all 34 charges in the hush money trial, which may affect Trump’s positioning in upcoming elections.   

Joe Biden’s Tone Shifts on the Crypto Industry

Joe Biden wasn’t considered a big supporter of cryptocurrency, but the recent move indicates Biden’s shift towards the crypto industry. Recently, Biden enhanced his involvement with cryptocurrency, reaching out to crypto players.

Trump’s crypto acceptance shows how Biden’s perspectives toward digital assets have changed. Now, Biden is actively involved in crypto-related issues and their impact on the presidential race.   

RFK Jr.’s Plan to Shift the US Budget to Blockchain

RFK Jr. is bullish on cryptocurrency and advanced technologies like blockchain technology. In his presidential campaign in Michigan, he recently commented that he aims to put the US budget on the blockchain, which denotes his love for cryptocurrency.    

“I’m going to put the entire U.S. budget on blockchain so that any American, every American can look at every budget item in the entire budget anytime they want 24 hours a day,” Kennedy added. 

In the same way, Kennedy called for ending hostile crypto policies in the US market and will prioritize crypto growth if he win the election. 

The diverse perspectives of the presidential candidates reflect that the future of the US economy somehow relies on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
