Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com has launched a new Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) airdrop. The exchange allows users to add the token to their portfolio before its official launch.
By buying and holding $20 worth of CRO on the Crypto.com app, these crypto enthusiasts can win a share of $200,000 worth of HMSTR. Noteworthy, CRO is the native token of Cronos, a decentralized blockchain for settling payments.
Crypto.com Designs Campaign Period For HMSTR
The airdrop campaign will run from September 13, 2024, 10:00 UTC and September 26, 2024, 23:59 UTC. During this time, interested persons can sign in to the app and head to the campaign section.
Here, they can tap on the HMSTR Airdrop Campaign icon to join. Once they have joined, they can perform their buys. At the end of the campaign period, only the top-ranked 15,000 eligible users will be airdropped a set of HMSTR tokens.
It is worth noting that the more CRO a user buys, the more HMSTR he could receive. Rewards will be distributed to eligible recipients’ Crypto.com App Crypto Wallet in HMSTR tokens by 9 October 2024.
Hamster Kombat intends to halt its mining exercise by September 20, 2024. Apart from providing gamers with another alternative to getting the HMSTR token, the move demonstrates Crypto.com’s support for the GameFi project.
