Dogecoin Price Prediction: Analyst Says DOGE Crypto Forming a Bullish Flag

Key Insights:

  • Dogecoin price prediction: Doge price forms a bullish flag pattern.
  • DOGE faces key resistance at $0.090 while a breakout could open a move toward $0.115.
  • Long liquidations reached $3.32 million as DOGE declined 2% in the past 24 hours.

Dogecoin price prediction today involves a potential breakout as DOGE forms a bullish flag pattern. The token however fell 4.3% over 24 hours, with its market capitalization at $13.26 billion.

The retreat left Dogecoin price near $0.085, just above the support area identified in the chart analysis. That area stretched from $0.081 to $0.084.

DOGE price experienced a 24-hour decline of 3.8%. Nevertheless, the longer periods showed positive figures for the token. DOGE gained 2.0% over seven days. The token also advanced 22.3% across 14 days and recorded a 21.8% gain over 30 days.

The short-term decline also followed Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh’s hawkish comments at Jackson Hole. Warsh said inflation was still too high. He reiterated that the central bank’s 2% target took priority in its policy approach.

Expanding on that assessment, he described the economy as strong and questioned whether interest rates were restrictive enough. He also indicated that rate cuts could become harder to deliver.

Dogecoin Price Prediction Charts Map Resistance

Against that background, analyst Ali Martinez identified $0.090 as the resistance level defining a potential bullish flag breakout. He said DOGE needed an hourly close above that threshold to confirm the chart setup.

If DOGE confirmed the breakout, the chart indicated subsequent targets at $0.096 and $0.105. The main projection extended toward $0.115, beyond those intermediate targets.

That projection described approximately 30% upside from a reference price near $0.0866. The chart’s reference differed from the reported spot price, so the estimate did not use the same starting level.

However, the accompanying analysis also described a scenario in which DOGE failed to move above resistance. In that case, trading could continue within the existing range, with a possible retest toward the $0.081 support level.

Meanwhile, Top DOGE reviewed the token’s three-day chart and highlighted a dotted descending trendline. The account said every previous bounce had faced rejection there, with price now touching the line again.

With that renewed test, Top DOGE presented two possible outcomes for the trend. Another rejection would extend the downtrend. A break above the line could change the direction only if price held there.

Alongside that assessment, Top DOGE called for patience and continued chart reading during quieter trading periods. It argued that traders who maintained that discipline were the ones who succeeded.

CoinGlass Reports $4.85 Million in Liquidations

Alongside those technical assessments, CoinGlass showed $4.85 million in total Dogecoin liquidations over the preceding 24 hours. Of that daily total, long positions accounted for $4.24 million in liquidations.

By comparison, short positions recorded $612,640 over the same 24-hour period. The breakdown showed that bullish positions accounted for most liquidations by value as Dogecoin price weakened.

That imbalance also appeared in the shorter windows shown in the data. Over 12 hours, Dogecoin liquidations reached $3.60 million, with longs making up $3.27 million of the total.

Meanwhile, the four-hour liquidation figure stood at $2.43 million across long and short positions. Long liquidations contributed $2.18 million during that window.

Within the one-hour period, total liquidations reached approximately $1.29 million. The corresponding breakdown assigned $1.27 million to long positions. Meanwhile, short positions accounted for $26,490 over that period.

Dogecoin Price Prediction Remains Conditional

The near-term Dogecoin price prediction is straightforward. DOGE needs an hourly close above $0.090 to confirm Martinez’s bullish flag setup.

A successful breakout would first place $0.096 in focus. Above that, buyers could target $0.105 before the full measured move near $0.115 becomes relevant.

The bearish scenario begins if DOGE loses $0.081. Until either boundary breaks, Dogecoin remains inside a consolidation zone following its recent rally.

The heavy long-liquidation imbalance shows short-term bullish positioning has already been partly reduced, but it does not establish the next direction by itself.

For now, $0.090 remains the clearest confirmation level for bulls, while $0.081 defines the main downside risk.
