Strive (ASST) announced on Sept. 14, 2026, that it had acquired another 469 Bitcoin, spending $36.6 million at an average price of $77,954.
According to the company’s SEC filings, Strive paid about $79,281 per coin in its prior 1,375 BTC purchase, which raised its total holdings to 24,531 BTC.
The new purchase pushes that figure to roughly 25,000 BTC. The CEO confirmed the buy was financed entirely by Strive’s perpetual preferred stock (SATA).
Strive Funding via SATA Preferred Stock
Strive said that 100% of the $36.6 million came from proceeds of SATA sales, highlighting strong investor demand for the crypto-backed security.
Sales of SATA stock supplied about 70% of the capital for last week’s $109 million bitcoin buy. SATA’s notional outstanding has now approached $1 billion, meaning the company can raise large sums with minimal dilution (SATA trades at its $100 par).

The latest Bitcoin acquisition increased Strive’s so-called amplification ratio (debt/equity leverage) to 53.5%, per management’s update.
Strive (ASST) Stock Gains 3%
Strive’s common stock ASST climbed about 3% after trading opened, reflecting investor approval of the company’s aggressive strategy.
ASST stock has been a top performer recently – it’s up over 100% in the past month and surpassed its year-to-date high above $27.
Analysts note that each new Bitcoin purchase tends to send Strive’s stock higher, as more crypto on the balance sheet boosts the firm’s net asset value.
CEO Matt Cole has even signaled an ambition to acquire over 20,000 BTC by year-end, which would make Strive the second-largest Bitcoin treasury after Strategy.
Strive Climbs the Bitcoin Treasury Rankings
BitcoinTreasuries.NET said the company now owns 25,000 BTC, putting it ahead of 97.5% of public companies with Bitcoin on their balance sheets. The tracker ranked Strive No. 5 in its Bitcoin 100 ranking.

The figure is notable given the company has been public for less than 12 months. The latest move follows Strive’s earlier 1,375-BTC purchase, which took its holdings to 24,531 BTC as of Sept. 4. That purchase cost an average of $79,281 per Bitcoin, according to the company’s filing.
