Key Insights:
- Binance news highlights BNB Chain leading RWA holders with 1.9 million users.
- Binance Smart Chain supports USDT payments for eligible network fees through Binance Wallet.
- BNB Chain also sees renewed discussion around community projects and its on-chain culture.
Binance news drew attention to BNB Chain after RWA Foundation data placed it first by real-world asset holder count. The ranking showed about 1.9 million RWA-holding addresses on the network.
Separately, Binance Wallet added USDT as a network-fee payment option across four blockchains. The feature reduces reliance on native gas tokens without removing the underlying transaction fee.
Binance News: Latest RWA User Ranking By Chain
BNB Smart Chain leads the latest RWA holder ranking with 1.9 million users, according to data shared by RWA Foundation. The figure puts BNB Chain ahead of Robinhood Chain, which has 1.52 million RWA holders.
Solana follows with 721,400 holders, while Ethereum records 280,300 holders. Plume Network ranks next with 259,300 holders in the shared data. Base has 69,500 RWA holders, followed by Polygon with 22,900. Stellar records 22,200 holders, while Arbitrum has 13,400.
Avalanche ranks with 10,100 RWA holders. These figures measure the number of holders across each network. However, the holder count does not mean that BNB Chain has the highest RWA value. Ethereum still leads that part of the market with $16.6 billion in RWA value.

That creates a clear difference between user count and the amount of value held. BNB Chain has the largest number of RWA holders in the shared ranking.
The latest figures also add another point to the ongoing Binance news around activity on BNB Chain. The network is recording high holder numbers while its broader ecosystem receives renewed attention. For BNB Chain users, the latest developments also include a change to how network fees can be paid.
Binance News: Wallet and Token Fee Update
In separate Binance news, Binance Wallet has introduced an option that allows users to pay network fees with USDT. The update covers BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, and TRON.
The change means users do not need to hold each network’s native gas token before making supported transactions. For example, users on Binance Smart Chain can use USDT to cover eligible network fees. It is worth noting that the same option is available across the other supported networks. Binance said more networks will be added later.

Notably, the update addresses a common issue for wallet users. A transaction can fail when the wallet does not have enough of the network’s native gas token. The Binance Wallet screen shared with the update shows a fee payer selection. Users can choose the supported USDT balance instead of paying with the native network token.
This gives the Binance news update a direct connection to everyday wallet use. Users who already hold USDT can use that balance for supported fees. The option still depends on having enough USDT available in the wallet.
It does not mean network fees have been removed. Instead, Binance Wallet changes which asset can be used to cover those fees. The update currently supports four networks, including Binance Smart Chain.
Return of Community Culture on BNB Smart Chain
Latest RWA figures come as discussion around BNB Smart Chain projects is picking up again. Maison Cypher said BNB Chain had remained quiet during much of this cycle. The account pointed to the network’s earlier history with community tokens and speculative launches. It said those activities once helped generate large volumes across the chain.

According to Maison Cypher, the return of interest in local projects shows that BNB Chain’s on-chain culture never disappeared. Instead, attention around those projects is starting to return. That view provides another part of the latest Binance news. RWA holders now form a large user base on BNB Chain, while community projects are drawing fresh discussion.
The two areas differ, but both indicate activity across the network. RWA tokenization focuses on real-world assets, while community projects reflect the wider culture around BNB Chain.
For now, the holder figures put BNB Chain ahead of Ethereum and Solana by RWA user count. Ethereum, however, remains ahead by total RWA value. Meanwhile, the Binance Wallet update gives users another way to manage transaction fees. Binance Smart Chain is among the first four supported networks for USDT fee payments.
