Avalanche Price Gains 54% as it Outpaces Rivals in RWA Growth

Key Insights

  • Avalanche price has gained 54% in 30 days as its RWA market cap added $266 million.
  • Avalanche’s RWA growth surpassed the next two chains combined over the same period.
  • AVAX’s rally coincides with new tokenized funds and growing institutional activity on the network.

Avalanche price has gained 53.70% over the past month, according to TradingView, as the network reports a $266 million increase in real-world asset market capitalization over 30 days.

The figures put token performance and network activity on two separate but increasingly connected tracks.

Avalanche published the RWA figure on Sept. 29, saying its growth exceeded that of the next two chains combined.

The network also said institutional assets are increasingly moving onchain through Avalanche.

TradingView shows AVAX at about $10.96 at the time of writing. The one-month advance stands at 53.70%, while the token remains about 63% below its November 2021 record of $147.

Avalanche’s token has recovered sharply, but the network’s latest growth story is increasingly about assets that do not originate with AVAX itself.

Avalanche Price Meets Broader RWA Push

The Avalanche price rally follows several weeks of activity around tokenized financial products.

On Sept. 18, New York Life Investment Management launched what The Coin Republic described as the first major tokenized fund on Avalanche.

The report said the asset manager oversees more than $800 billion and that the fund could support tokenized corporate bonds and institutional-grade credit.

The same report noted Avalanche’s Paxos integration, which expands access to Avalanche-native USDC and AVAX, as well as COTI’s deployment of a privacy stack on Avalanche.

Five days later, Midas launched two tokenized investment strategies on the network. One is linked to Wellington Management’s multi-sector fixed-income portfolio, while the other tracks Fasanara Capital’s alternative debt strategy.

Wellington manages more than $1.3 trillion overall, although that money has not moved onto Avalanche. Midas said Avalanche had more than $2 billion in tokenized assets at the time.

Those launches provide useful context for the latest RWA number. They also show why the AVAX crypto price story cannot be separated entirely from developments in tokenized assets, even though individual announcements cannot be treated as direct causes of price gains.

Avalanche Price Still Faces Technical Checkpoints

The Avalanche price has moved considerably since mid-September. The Coin Republic reported AVAX around $7.29 on Sept. 16 before it moved above $11 four days later.

On Sept 20, AVAX hit an intraday high of nearly $11.38, with open interest near $539.61 million and 24-hour futures trading volume nearly $2.35 billion.

The same technical indicators suggest $10.80 as an important breakout area, with $11.47 and $12.20 as higher technical references, and $9.60 as a possible support level.

That setup matters after the latest RWA announcement because AVAX has not simply drifted higher with network activity. It has moved through several short-term technical levels during a broader September recovery.

The September 18 report had previously identified short-term support near $7.20 following a 6% gain over two days. It also described AVAX as still close to its 2026 bottom range at the time.

By Sept. 23, the token was holding around $11.30 as Midas expanded Avalanche’s institutional tokenized-asset offering.

The AVAX price was listed at $10.95 in that report, with a market capitalization of approximately $4.85 billion and a 24-hour trading volume of approximately $774.35 million.

AVAX Price Reflects More Than One Narrative

The latest RWA data provides a different backdrop for the Avalanche price rally.

Avalanche added $266 million in RWA market capitalization during the 30-day period ending Sept. 29, according to its own announcement.

The increase was larger than the combined growth of the next two chains, while the network said institutional assets were increasingly moving onto Avalanche.

The AVAX crypto price has followed that broader expansion higher. TradingView’s 53.70% monthly gain captures the scale of the rebound, but it does not establish that RWA growth caused the move.

For now, the two data sets tell different parts of the same market story. Avalanche is adding tokenized financial assets, while AVAX has recovered from the low levels seen earlier in September.

The next question for the Avalanche price is less about whether the network’s RWA market is growing. It is more about whether the token can sustain its recovery after such a rapid monthly advance.
