Ivan Atkinson Wants to Improve Production
Decentralized Autonomous Organization or DAO is a revolutionary concept where members of the organization equally share the ownership, eliminating any central decision making. This concept can easily be implemented in any company working in any industry. Recently, Ivan Atkinson, who produced the Matthew McConaughy starrer film The Gentlemen, recently adopted a similar structure.
The decision comes as the producer decided to take the future of filmmaking on another level. His production house One Van Films joined forces with the metaverse development project Light Cycle. The project is designed to work on various aspects including NFTs, sports, music, filming, gaming, entertainment and fashion on a metaverse platform dubbed Caduceus.
The initiative by Ivan Atkinson will offer loyalty rewards to the users. This will enable the community to get closer with the film industry and members can get access to behind the scenes arrangement of the movies and TV shows. The DAOs are rapidly gaining popularity across the globe, as they offer something that people crave for, Power.
Some Use Cases Of DAOs
DAO can help in achieving a plethora of stuff which the central entities are unable to do. Primarily, folks would not have to follow the traditional system, where they had to follow everything a centralized authority says. There are times when a bunch of individuals make decisions thinking that whatever they have decided, is eventually good for the people. But many times those decisions prove to be damaging for the general audience.
A decentralized autonomous organization allows every member to offer proposals and vote for certain issues. It eventually eliminates any central entity with respect to the decision making. Another revolutionary use case they can offer in future is to share an NFT. A shared non-fungible token will allow the ‘shared holders’ to contribute in different attributes of the artwork. They can then customize those features as per their own accords. DAOs undoubtedly can revolutinalize various sectors. This is especially helpful where people are willing to manage an organization as a whole instead of letting it be controlled by central entities.
